About Your Presenter
I have been doing genealogy for 43 years. My mother started my sister and I early learning about where our family came from and how to research our family history. I'm a member of many Lineage Societies. I'm also a member of many Genealogical Societies. I hold offices in many genealogical societies and local lineage groups and I have given many presentations at public libraries and genealogical societies. Just recently I did a presentation for Family Tree University. I love sharing my knowledge of family history. I also like helping people learn about their heritage. I'm a Genealogical Speaker, I speak on many topics including lineage societies.

Hybrid meetings are held both in person at the Zion-Benton Public Library and on Zoom.
Accessing the Zoom Meeting
You Must Register to attend this free zoom presentation. Send in an email your first and last name and inform whether you are a member or not, and your email address. Send that email registration to vam1488@gmail.com by the Sunday evening prior to the zoom meeting. You will receive an email back giving you the details to link in to the meeting on Monday. Make sure that you've installed the Zoom software before the event and you'll use that link to join the meeting when it begins.

Research assistance Tuesdays from 9-11am by appointment only. Call 847-872-4680 to reserve. Research assistance from a Society volunteer Tuesdays from 7-9pm.
ZGS volunteers hand out materials and encourage library patrons to find out about their ancestors and offer information about ZGS programs and research assistance.
First Wednesday of each month from 1:30-4:30pm at the Zion-Benton Public Library.
